How to Link Medicare Data for Analysis

SDRC will delve into data crosswalks to provide insight on how to link certain variables to help better understand the dual-eligible population. During this presentation, SDRC will walk through how to identify and process linkage keys in relation to the Master Beneficiary Summary File (MBSF), Historical Part A and B Claims data, and Part D Prescription Drug Event (PDE) data segments provided by the SDRC. SDRC will also provide example scenarios involving linking data to yield robust analyses about the dual-eligible population.
